Byappanahalli Passport Verification

I accompanied an 18 year old who needed a passport related document verification. We went to Byappanahalli Police station and met a young lad who was entering data into the computer. He then asked the 18 year old for Rs 200 or Rs 300 saying things would be delayed otherwise.

I requested the receptionist to take a complaint about the bribe and loudly complained about the man asking for a bribe. Another office worker then called the lad out and ordered him to let go of his demand (at least for this irritating customer).
