I am planning to carry my bike along with me on the same train from

• Railways
• Transport of Goods

I am planning to carry my bike along with me on the same train from Pune to NJP.
My question is what is the procedure to carry it as a luggage not as a parcel as it would cost more.
I have researched that a day before the journey I would have to visit the luggage counter with the required documents and fill a form, however my actual concern for the query is :
If i can book my train tickets from a travel agent/website and link it to my luggage at the luggage office?

This is really important to me hence I will be very grateful if you do the needful.
