I submitted my id proof and tenant verification to a police station in kondhwa as part of renting out a flat in Undri. The police officer said that the process would take 4-5 days and that part of the process is a visit to the rented out premises to ensure that i am in fact living there. What should I expect during the visit and what are my rights as to what the people doing the visit can and cannot ask of me if im forced to invite them into my home.
