Two plainclothes policemen from the Chennammanakere Achchukattu Police Station visited my home in Banashankari III stage for police verification on Wednesday night, in connection with passport applications by my family members. One policeman told us his name was Krishnamurthy. As he was leaving (just outside the house), he asked me to give him a "fee" as the people at his station would also expect it. I was not pleased but did not want my work to get disrupted, so I gave him Rs. 100.
