How do I track my Aadhaar card status?

  • Click on the link to see status of you Adhaar Card
  • After clicking on the link you will be redirected to a new page which will ask for the details of your Acknowledgement slip.  The first two fields need the enrollment number and the date and time in the same sequence as it is mentioned in the slip. Fill the details carefully without any mistake and check it again.
  • Once you are done with the previous process, fill the exact image value (as they are case sensitive) in the third box and then click on “SUBMIT”.
  • After clicking on submit you will the status of your Adhaar card.

Track status of your Aadhaar Card Online

Process Flow for Online Mode:

In case you want to update the data on your existing Aadhaar card, you can either do this online or offline. Through this method, you can change the details like – Name, Date of Birth, Address, Mobile Number and gender.

Process Flow for Offline Mode:

  • Visit the page Self service update portal (SSUP) and enter your 12 digits Aadhaar number in the field provided on the page and enter captcha to login to the Update Portal.
  • You will immediately receive a One Time Password (OTP) in your mobile phone.
  • Using the OTP number, login to the site and check mark the field in which the detail needs to be changed. Depending on the field to be updated, attach selfattested supporting documents as per the Valid Documents List.
  • Name Correction/Update: Requires PoI listed in "Supported Proof of Identity(PoI) Documents Containing Name and Photo for Name Corrections/Update"
  • Date of Birth Correction: Requires DoB listed in "Supported Proof of Date of Birth (DoB) Documents"
  • Address Corrections/Change: Requires PoA listed in "Supported Proof of Address (PoA) Documents Containing Name and Address"
  • Click Submit
  • After submitting, fill the correct details and then click ‘Submit Update Button’.
  • It will then ask you to verify the changed details. Click ‘Modify’ in case any changes has to be made, otherwise Click ‘Proceed’.
  • You will then be directed to the Document Upload page where you need to upload the scanned document for verifying your updated details. You can also post the same to UIDAI.
  • UIDAI will not make any corrections to the information in your request.
  • Submit the request. Note down your Update Request Number (URN) carefully for future reference and tracking. You can also download /Print your Update Request copy.
