Tax increased 5 times as a revengeful act for using RTI Act
I requested Madurai Corporation to transfer the my family house to my name from my mother's. For 8 years no ction was taken. Rs.10000 was demanded. But I did not pay.Then I wrote under RTI Act. The offial got wild and warned over phone and transferred the property to my name but increased the property tax from Rs.880 to Rs.4500 Then I appealed to the Tax Appellate Judicial Authority who after few hearings reduced the tax to Rs.1400 *******
