I submitted a claim to recover my PF money. The claim was received by the Office of the Registrar PF Commission, 13 Raja Rammohan Roy Road, Bangalore 560025. They received it on MAY 18, 2010 and were supposed to send the money directly into my account within two months. 8 months have passed and they say the claim is still being processed! I cannot give you my email address because I work for the government and I'm petrified of being caught for informing you of one of the biggest scams and tragedies in India, and, therefore, getting fired. The Ministry for the Woman and Child has an insane amount of money allocated to it every year to run various schemes, most recent one being the "Integrated Child Protection Scheme". At every level of the ministry's monstrous structure and the innumerable agencies, departments and NGOs attached to it, money is being embezzeled and bribes are being taken left, right and center. In Bangalore alone, there is ONLY 1 "Counselor" working for EIGHT homes - including the Children Home for Boys, the Girls Home, the Home for the Aged, the Home for the Mentally Retarded Men, Home for the Mentally Retarded Women, the Home for the Boys in Conflict with the Law (juvenile delinquents), and 2 others I forget their names. She has to "counsel" hundreds of inmates every week and draw up their case histories and update them. These homes have a floating population so she's drawing up hundreds of new profiles every week. There is one incorrigibly corrupt and nasty government official in charge of all these homes - Mr Rajendra Prasad, the Superintendent - notorious for beating the kids under his care, harassing his employees, extorting bribes from the poorest of the poor folk who come to pick up their kids, etc. Not a single "counselor" has managed to survive in his employment for more than 6 months and the current counselor is thinking of quitting because he has not paid her her salary for 3 months already. Crores of rupees that should have gone towards the care, protection and upliftment of hundreds of thousands of children who float through these homes have already been stolen, but please can IPAB intervene in this one area by ensuring that Rajendra Prasad pays up her salary and doesn't force a bribe out of her for the same? What can I do? How can/ will you respond to me?

I only realised this when I started filling in the form to report a bribe, and found that I had to choose from a list of cities that are all in India. It's a shame that the site is limited to India, because it would be useful to people everywhere. Corruption exists in all countries.

I live in Ghaziabad and daily have to up down to my college in Noida. I travel by auto. At the Vijay nagar mod (one leading to NH24 from vijay nagar) , each autowala is charged Rs. 10 everyday for crossing the mod by some group of people. If autowala refuses to pay, they forcefully take the money from them, at times leading to fights. This causes a great discomfort to autowala and so to the passengers.What can i do?
