Dear Raghu, I live in Pilkhuwa, Ghaziabad. I paid 500 rupees to replace my old meter. The meter was burnt due to high voltage or further reasons.

This is indeed unfortunate. Please read the posts where I have advised how one could go about seeking such services without paying a bribe. The answer lies in being bold, direct, insistent and being ready to lodge a complaint with higher authorities. Corruption will not go away if we do not resist it.</p>
