Hello All,
Request your help to get the process of name change in Birth Certificates in BBMP Birth registrar office.
She used to call at home with nick name called XXX, at the time of admission in hospital for delivery purpose, that time father and mother of XXX is said her nick name in the hospital, later the hospital has given the birth report and BBMP has issued Birth Certificate to her in the name of Nick name, now this is future of child, now need to change from nick name to original name in Birth certificate after 9 years which was not observed.
Recently i visited BBMP office for request of name change, after 15 days they said we need to 5000 bribe to get this resolved, I said i cant pay this, later they requested to submit the application form, i did the same, now they are saying his officer said to "issue endorsement".
Pls help me how to go from here.
