I applied for a trade license online on BBMP portal, in August 1st
I applied for a trade license online on BBMP portal, in August 1st week. I submitted all the documents as directed and uploaded them along with the application. This was to open a book store and accessories retail outlet. And I paid the applicable fee online.
The application is still under process.
My questions are:
1) How long does it take to get the trade license and can I do something to expedite it.
2) Can I start operating my retail outlet, since I have already paid the license fees. I have an online receipt of the same. Or do I need to wait for the approved license to come through. I am told that as I have paid the fee, I can start operating.
Please clarify!
