I own a commercial property in kodambakkam and i had to pay accumulated tax to the tune of Rs.3 lakhs pending for some years and i had remitted Rs.1 lakh during Nov 2016 (it was Rs.4 Lakhs then ) but now the officials have warned me to pay the remaining balance within a week's time or else they are going take strict action against me and my tenants. I need a break for at least 5or 6 months to pay and how do i stop them proceeding further in this matter. Also provide me the details as to the further steps the corporation will take in case of defaulters
