My bag was stolen while travelling in another State and with it
My bag was stolen while travelling in another State and with it I lost my original passport.
I tried to file an FIR there but the policeman cheated me by saying that it should be registered only near my residence.
Back in Chennai, the police are refusing to file a complaint saying I should go back there and file a complaint.
What are my rights in this regard?
