Property registration and building inspection - demanding bribe
I have recently bought a property in Chennai (existing house) and registered the same on 20th April. The Sub-registrar or any authorized person has not come for the building inspection/verification and when I went to the SRO and asked, the registrar is telling me that you have not given any money.
I have shown the full transaction value of the property in the document, even though more than the guideline value and the value for the building and I have paid the Stamp duty and Reg and other fees.
When I am not cheating the government by undervaluing or hiding part of the money, why should I pay bribe.
