When we took the flat possesion, we were not provided with the OC
When we took the flat possesion, we were not provided with the OC (occupency certificate) as it was still under process. Last month we have received the OC and we got a soft copy from the builder. Now i think the next immediate process is to do a Khata transfer from Builder to Owner, and wherever i read its lot of bribes involved. I want to know if we can seek any professional help, we have almost 100 flats and everybody is looking for doing the transfer. Now we need somebody to help us step by step as we are not really confident on doing it ourselves. All the original documents are now with the Bank (SBI) as per their loan process. Could somebody help us know if Khata transfer has any time limits or penalty. Also, can we pay property tax without doing the Khata transfer.
