Badarpur Border check post is a center for Police personals for charging bribe by raising unauthorised charges for all the vehicles that are with out of state number plate. I used to hav a Rajasthan Numberplate car and every day I used to cross the Badarpur Border for my work and back home. Almost every day I have to pay Rs 100 or Rs 50 to the cops standing there just to pass the border and avoid myself for the hassels the cop used to create. They just humiliate you and finally end up by taking Rs 50 or Rs 100. Later I started keeping only Rs 20 in my wallet and use to show them those Rs 20. These people even use to take that Rs 20 to let me pass the Border. I have seen these people barigating the road and intentionally seeking people with out of state number plate cars for asking bribe. When one day I asked why your have done this barigating, I was told that they have done this for checking the cars. Instead of checking the cars, they are using the barigating for taking bribe from people to pass the border. I tried reporting this many a times to media also but it never helped me and this still continues. Can somebidy look into this matter and teach these cops a lesson? Thanks Ankur *******
