I wanted a new connection for agricultural purpose at my farm, for which I had applied in Feb 2013 to the concerned sub division office at Tirora. The demand(expenses for new meter and service wire) was generated in May 2013 which I paid duly, but the line man did not connect the line till July 2013. The line man said the department has run out of meter and he also asked me to buy service wire from the market. He took Rs.700 to connect the line and install meter. The meter is also not new. But for the sake of urgency I had to pay bribe. Still the meter is not new and moreover I had applied for 3 phase connection ant the meter installed is a Single phase meter. Helpless !
