I had applied for the passport and against all suggsetion ,I went on my own to apply it rather than contacting an agent.
But it backfired,I had to bribe the local police while verification,Then CID officials too took their share. Still i tried my level my best and decided not to pay bribe to anyone else ,however long the process shall take; as the urgency has finished ;as the purpose for which i required it ,its dates had already failed.But then they delayed my passport issue and finally i recieved my passport after a year and half.I filed a complaint in RTI for the delay ,mailed to even the highest official,,but all in vain and in the end i understood still how little we can do to bring them to task.But the effort shall go on .....
