Respected Sir
I am a woman aged about 26 years and daughter of an industrialist. I work for charitable cause with my group of colleges at Lucknow. I put up at Gomti Nagar.
I have a question ---- Where should one complaint when the police itself forms connivance with the anti-social elements to harass women either to extort money or for other benefits? I have sufficient proofs for that claim because I happen to be a victim myself, put aside the conditions of economically weaker girls in UP.
Dinesh Kumar Sharma an inspector at Gomti Nagar Police station grossly misused his powers speaking of which in detail here would make the women and girls to lose their faith in Police and humanity completely.
In a nutshell he and his aides extort, harass and loot the Girls and Old people fearlessly who can't stand up for themselves. If anybody tries to defend the rights of those victims then Mr.Sharma sets them up under false FIRs and raises the extortion amount exponentially.
Mr.Dinesh Kumar Sharma (Inspector at Gomti Nagar Police station) and his gang has demanded a sum of Rs 50 lakhs threatening me of dire consequences if their demands are not met. I believe that they will do that in near future.
Earlier I received threatening phone calls and upon informing the police I realized it was all being done with Gomti Nagar police’s consent. Thereafter Mr.Sharma use to show up around 8-10:00 pm in the evening at my house in a heavily drunken state, claiming that he was there to take my statement for the FIR (I was compelled to file FIRs against Mr.Sharma’s aides and not him because no Police station was ready to file an FIR against a Policewaala). And because there were no male members at my house so we were forced to pay up with all the cash to make him go away.
When my husband came to Lucknow upon hearing such incidence, D K Sharma along with his aides attacked my husband so brutally that he lost the partial use of his right arm ( rupture of pectoralis major muscle and fracture). When we reached the police station we found Mr.Sharma with his gang who threatened us to go away else they would have arrested us all under false cases. Then Mt.Sharma set up my husband and arrested him without any proofs and took 5 lakhs to leave him.
I made a complaint to the DGP police Uttar Pradesh recently regarding the extortion demand of 50 lakhs. He ordered the C.O. (Gomti Nagar) to look into the matter but the C.O. took my statement and is now trying to suppress my statements instead for the reasons best known to him.
I believe senior officers are mere paper tigers in front of those inspectors and constables in the Government organisation.
What should i do???
If I get murdered or anything happens to me then it is only Dinesh Kumar Sharma, inspector, Gomti Nagar, UP police and his aides who are to be blamed because I won't pay 50 lakhs just to live.
I have sufficient proofs against him and before moving to court I considered it my duty to inform you. Earlier I was worried about my reputation while taking the help of media but when there is a do or die situation then I am left with no choice .
