Hello All, I submitted my Passport Application on the 18/05/2010 and the verification happened on 20/06/2010, The Cop agreed to verify only when i arranged transportation for him to come to my address. I had to take the cop on my bike to and Fro and to top it all he insisted that i pay him Rs.300 or else his senior would reject my application. Hence they charged 300 to further process the application. Current Date: 30/08/2010:- I still haven't received my passport! I'm not an NRI, nor my parents are citizens of any other country... nor have i migrated from different states of INDIA. I was born in Mysore and Brought up in Bangalore, and i have lived all my life till date in Bangalore and yet it takes more 3 months for me to receive my passport! I'm frustrated! i have been to the commissioners Office several times to check the passport status but they say they never received my passport application, when i check online the passport Status is: "Your Police Verification report has been received by us, and your file is in line for further processing" and it has been reflecting the same for the last one month! Please help me or do I have to pay more bribe to get my passport S A J
