Capitalism as a bogey
This interesting piece talks about the confusion surrounding the concept and definition of `neo -liberalism ' and also examines why corruption seems to have gone up in the face of liberalisation. It takes a closer look at some of the factors - higher election costs, crony capitalism, market value of scarce public resources such as land etc, and ironically inadequate liberalisation itself, that might be responsible for this and elaborates on each of them.
