Chinese anti-corruption web campaign comes to a halt
ipaidabribe.com inspired Chinese website blowing whistle on bribery has been shut down by censors.
The website www.ibribery.com drew 200,000 unique visitors in two weeks.
Chen Hong, a public relations consultant in Beijing, who set up the website, is applying for a license with China's Internet control body, hoping to gain approval to operate the site on the mainland.
Several other bribery reporting sites that surfaced soon after the launch of Chen's site have been shut too.
