Mera Bharat Mahaan?

“After having lived in the UK and seen Indians do so well including running the UK railway system, the corruption, nepotism and broken system in India breaks my heart.”

Old patriotic songs boast of our country being better than the rest. Sadly, the reality is quite the opposite. When Indians who are settled abroad return to their homeland, they are disappointed bitterly with the dishonesty and greed that is found here in abundance. This UK return Indian narrates his experience at the Koramangala South Western Railway centre. He is appalled to see Indians contributing generously to the decaying system in our country, whereas they are doing so well abroad. To top it all, government officials don’t care to display any decorum either.

To say the least, we Indians are in desperate need for some introspection.
