Outsourcing may not be Flawless

"By leaving one end congested they should not be expecting people to get enrolled as early as possible"

Few services are outsourced by the governement such as Aadhar card application. Outsourcing does exhibit functional advantages of private sector but one cannot rule out cases of bribery in this. A respondent from Bangalore has observed some cases of impropriety in this regard and blames the government to be cautious before handing over such roles to agencies. There is a further need to streamline their ‘public’ operations in accordance to government requirements in terms of efficiency as well as effectiveness.
