Civil Intervention: Sign of Progressive Politics or Parliamentary Delays?

With a lot of Civil action and social activists coming out in the open, one really needs to rethink the implications of such interventions. While it is surely a sign of meaningful democracy that offers citizens a progressive platform to engage with various issues, it also raises an important question on whether such consensus building platforms at every stage actually end up derailing the Parliamentary processes?
