Civil Society Movement or Pressure Tactics?

The burning of the Government introduced Lokpal Bill lends a sad end to the much awaited anti-corruption movement that started with a bang. While serious concerns around the provisions of the Bill have been highlighted time and again by civil society activists, an important question that stands out is whether this movement is really progressive and democratic or just another means of pressure politics?
