Do not worry if you don’t fulfil the criteria to claim your medical insurance. Bribe Insurance Officers and they will tweak rules to hand over your mediclaim amount.

Writing in from Meerut (in Uttar Pradesh), a respondent recalls an unfortunate accident that took place when he took a mediclaim policy for Rs. 26,000 for his wife. This was in connection with a breast cancer operation, performed in August 2006.

But the concerned authority refused to pass the claim as the patient failed to get a fitness certificate from the hospital, an essential requirement for a cancer operation.

But the authority bent all rules when the respondent paid him a bribe of Rs. 3,000.

Another report from Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), reveals that the individual had to pay Rs. 1,000 to get an insurance claim of Rs. 14,000. The insurance officers objected the claim as the respondent failed to meet some criteria. But the officer changed the rules as soon as money exchanged hands http://www.ipaidabribe.com/bribe-central/bribe-paid-public-sector-general-insurance-companies.

A respondent from Bokaro in Jharkhand reported how he had to pay a bribe of Rs. 100 to an officer for merely obtaining mediclaim application forms for his parents who were hospitalised.

In the last budget, the government increased the exemption rate in the health insurance policies to improve their well-being. But the very purpose of it gets defeated if the facilities do not percolate to those really in need of them.
