Team ********** responds to Standing Committee Deliberations on the Lokpal

The issue of Lokpal now stands before the Parliamentary standing committee. The provisions which exclude Group C and Group D government employees from the Lokpal’s jurisdiction have met with oppositions from Team Anna. The lower rungs of the government are equal shareholders in transactional cases of corruption. Given that how justifiable is this provision?
