This is a bit long Story.
My consignment was already on the port of JNCH and lying there three months had to pay lot of dammerage and other charges just because I refuse to pay under the table any amount by CHA
So I had practically removed CHA from the case and directly did interactions with below mentioned officers.
Off the road all terrain utility vehicle is not mentioned in Tariff 2012-2013
We had personally visit JNCH Customs office 10 times (visit proof is the passes issued from JNCH Customs) for clarification of complete classification and duties applicable on OFF ROAD ALL TERRAIN UTILITY VEHICLE and also asked for housing the consignment in bonded warehouse. to below mentioned officers
Also Hired Lawyer for this process still the officers had not acknowledge this request

None of them gave any support or help on the product classification details and import duties
Instead Mr K C Gupta passes order to pay duties as per the non certified reference document which is not registered under ITC or approved by DGFT.
I had to pay duties under protest just to avoid all other charges and interest applicable on the Bill of Entry.
This all had been done in Last April 2013 and till date today they have not responsibly replied back or informed or provided any certified document related to the import Duties and complete classification applicable for Off the road / off the highway all terrain utility vehicle
