I filed a criminal complaint in Borivali Addl. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate 67th Court. The court issued orders to police u/s 202 to Dindoshi Police to carry out investigation/inquiry.
The court staff who calls himself, Mr. Rathod, made me make several visits to Borivali and hinted "Amcha Shree Ganesh kara na !". I finally lost patience and spoke to the court Registrar stating my problem. The court registrar who was aware of the thing then directed Mr. Rathod who flatly refused. I stated that if this continued then I will have no option but to complaint in writing.
He declared he has high connections and nothing would happen to him. In The 67th court ACMM, Borivali I have already witnessed court sheristedar taking paltry sums to put the matter on board or take it away from board.
It seems the corruption in the 67th court is rampant and advocates clerks and court staff routinely extort money from hapless litigants. The court staff also prefers clerks to visit them as the bribe interface shifts from the court staff to the clerks. The clerk adds his own commission to the bribe accepted by the court staff.
