You can obtain the Birth certificate from any of the BBMP citizens centres, or from a closest Bangalore One centre.  Please visit the website of Bangalore one at http://www.bangaloreone.gov.in/public/bmp-info.aspx to find out the most convenient centre for you and make your application there for the Birth certificate. There is no need for you to pay a bribe if you do this.
