Honest and helpful Traffic Constable
I have seen the Traffic Constables and Police Officers charging the Offenders left and right on Roads. There is a new Railway Overbridge came up in KODAMBAKKAM near T.Nagar, Chennai which takes vehicles to Kodambakkam and West Mambalam in the shape of the letter Y, which has got timing restrictions. One day, a Traffic Constable who got posted on duty at the Bridge, seen standing in the middle of the Road asking all Offenders to ride/drive back though as all of them violated / ignored the One Way Traffic Notice kept at both the Bridge entries. Nice thing was that with a smile only, he asks all the violators to get back. No fines / no Bribes / no black faces and People drive back with some deep breathing as they escaped from being levied. I personally saluted him and told him GREAT..... There are good and sensible humans in Khaki....
