Bribe for paying tax
Not too many steps to pay bribe. Just go to Pune RTO.
(1) Ask enquiry in reception that you need to pay road tax. He will show hand in some direction.
(2) In that direction you will find a big wooden enclosure, and all government appointed employees will be seated at the epicenter working seriously. Nobody will be at the periphery of the enclosure to talk with you.
(3) After wandering for some time, you ********** decide to return. But don't do that. The first person to automatically talk with you will be a agent (that you will come to know only later), very seriously wanting to help you. You ********** think that he is a good employee of government.
(4) He will say that the total road tax for the 8 years OLD two-wheeler is 4000 and it will take just 5 minutes. You will give him 4000 (Just on belief, as there is no other hope) and keep looking for him fearing that he ********** vanish.
(5) In the mean time you will realize that he is agent and only agents can dare to approach the government employees and they have permission to go anywhere inside the office.
(6) Finally work done after 1 hour and the agent will come to you giving a receipt of 2161. I had then negotiated with him and got around 900rs back.
In short, Government employees know ways to get bribe legally either through delaying process or through denial of information.
