I haven't yet paid the bribe. But I guess I'm inching towards it with every passing day - every evening I block everything else out at 6 PM and concentrate real hard, repeatedly filling in the captcha and clicking on the 'Manage Appointment' key to try and get an appointment for my passport renewal. However, every day either of the following happens.
1. Once I landed up on the choose slot page. I chose my slot and then the website timed out.
2. On other days, I must have filled in the captcha at least 30 times, but each time it returned me to the same page saying Invalid entry.
It's quite obvious that the website is rigged and agents have been provided special links where they can block appointments while regular citizens like me just keep trying without even reaching the appointment slot page.
