Some agents demand a service charge of anything between Rs 500-Rs…

Reported on June 1, 2014 from New Delhi , Delhi  ι Report #41225

Some agents demand a service charge of anything between Rs 500-Rs 900 per ticket to get confirmed bookings under the tatkal scheme, found that within 30 minutes of opening of the ticket booking counter, tatkal tickets are completely sold out (whereas the stipulated period for tatkal ticket booking is two hours i.e., from 10 to 12 in the morning), there is some kind of mischief at play.
There are more agents than normal passenger, at Delhi , shahdara railway reservation centre. We are trying to book a tickets to home town for the last 3 days, we are not through. I have observed agents has their proxy, a list is prepared by the proxy one day before (around 9PM) . If you see the list from serial number 1 to 15 are mostly proxy . After 15 persons tatkal waiting starts. No questions has been asked since these proxies had good contacts with delhi police cop , who is on patrol on every day , he will be benefited form this, despite monthly wages from govt. of NCT. I never seen a RPF in and around.
I have seen women and senior citizen also in Q some are lucky to get their ticket booked and some are not. Women with childrens are waiting at reservations counter from 3 PM on every day.

Where do i lodge compliant, pls, assist me in this regard.
