Fined for two wrong cases
This is an incident in PUNE. Today, I crossed the traffic signal near the Law **********, when the green light was 1 sec to go. A police man stopped me and asked me to pay a fine. On the first hand, I managed to cross the signal with the green light on. He was not at all ready to accept that and insisted I pay the fine. I thought no point in wasting the time, arguing with a stubborn fellow and asked to give the reciept. He said the fine was Rs 200. I was startled, and said the fine for crossing the fine was Rs 100. He insisted if I dont have money, I pay Rs 100 and can collect the reciept later ( indirect way of settling the matter with a bribe of Rs 100). After a couple of arguements, he thought no way of getting money from a stubborn man like me and gave me a challan and asked me to pay the fine at the police station and kept the license with him. I saw the challan, and checked every thing, and asked him where is sthe violation written, he showed me that he has written the Motor vehicle Act 119/177 and 122/177,both are the violations for crossing the red signal. I was unaware of it and came back home. But to my utter astonishment, i found that, the act 122/177 was for "Leaving vehicle in dangerous position".Which is in no way the offence i did . This was a wrong case he imparted on me. I want to teach him a lesson. Please help me how I can teach him a lesson.
