Me and a friend were having tea near a tea stall in BTM layout,bangalore suddenly a police vehicle came and stopped, everybody stood-up including my friend. Then a cop came and asked me don't u have any respect for a police officer, u showed disrespect to inspector who is sitting in the vehicle. He asked me to come to police station with them. I kept thinking is it a rule to stand when you see an Inspector. In the PS they asked RS 300 for disrespecting an inspector...
Then I got mobile number of Police Commissioner of Bangalore(L&O) through by brother. I called him up and told the matter, he took swift action by calling SP of the area and I was allowed to go from the PS immediately without paying a penny..It was fun to watch the condition of the Inspector at that time. I would like to thank to the respected commissioner for unnecessary trouble that inspector put me into.
