The police officer (S.B. Bhosale) from Saki Naka Police Station…

Reported on January 6, 2015 from Mumbai , Maharashtra  ι Report #49476

The police officer (S.B. Bhosale) from Saki Naka Police Station waved for me to stop which I did while driving on Jogeshwari Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR) in Mumbai on 29-Dec-2014 at 15:31 hours. He accused me of speaking on my mobile phone, and when I stated that I was not speaking, he said "Don't Lie" and proceeded to take away my license and issued me a challan. I offered to show him my phone and explain that I was not speaking on my mobile, but he said "You go and say whatever you have to say in Court". He did not ask for a bribe and I did not offer him any money. Now I have to attend the Andheri Court for the hearing on 11-Jan-2015 (as stated on the challan, which incidentally is a Sunday and Courts are closed) to face my charge. So I made a visit to the Court already to check if my date on the Challan is on a Sunday, what should I do. The desk clerk at Court asked me to be present on the following day for the same.

What's your reaction?
