This story is not mine but my friend did it, i am posting it here because i asked my friend to not pay bribe. During police verification (Allahabad, Kareli) my friend went to police station with all the documents police officer checked all the documents then said whispering "Paisa Nikalo jaldi" - Give Money fast, My friends replied "Kaisa Paisa? Main to fees de chuka hoon"- What Money? i have already paid the fees. Then police man gave back documents and said "jaao nikalo", So after few days when he checked the status of passport it started showing :
"Police Verification Report is not clear and application is under review at Regional Passport Office."
I congratulated my friend for doing this and assured him that his passport will be cleared. I complained to RPO and MEA regarding this , so far no action has been done. I hope his passport will get ready without any problem for him.
