Hi,
I have been married for the past 15 years .Currently I had gone to renew my passport (old handwritten type) in the new format as it was issued in 1999 when i was unmarried.The passport office people told me that I need to furnish my marriage certificate as I had furnished my wife's name in the spouse column.
Now I have to give a months notice at the registrar office to register my marriage.I would like to know what is the proper procedure to register marriage without the mandatory 30 days notice as I have to go out . Your kind advice will be highly appreciated.
