I am a member of paramilitary force(Border Security Force) and presently
I am a member of paramilitary force(Border Security Force) and presently on deputation with Bureau of Immigration. I have not prepared for voter ID card during my entire service in BSF . Now I am applied for Indian voter ID card on line which was rejected and inquiry officer informed that I have to submit a letter written by Commandant addressed to DM. Presently my whole operational and administrative control lies on bureau of immigration. Please tell me whether letter from BSF Commandant is still required for preparation of new voter ID card or otherwise ? If no need, how I apply for voter ID card
