I am doing a MA program(distance education) at IGNOU for which I have to submit a project. The professor who is willing to guide my project asked me to pay Rs. 5000 for his signature. Does this amount to bribing ? By the way the professor is aged and is a visiting faculty (if this helps to assess the situation in any way).
