I was posted at Telecom Factory, Mumbai on 18.01.16 I have been transferred to Kolkata Telecom Factory. While in Mumbai I was issued a departmental Mobile connection. Now, I want to continue the said Mobile number (MNP) at kolkata without surrender the old one. Whether, the old number is required to be surrendered first to get the MNP facility?
What is the rule about it.
