I went for passport verification and the police guy asked that where i presently reside, I answered a different city(where i am doing job). In passport application i gave address of permanent address for both current and permanent columns. Now as the present address was different than permanent address he said that you have two options either give 5000 as penalty to passport office or give 4000 to me. Them I said i am ready to pay fine. Now please guide me into this matter. What are further procedures.
