My date on birth certificate is 8 .12.98 and i alter it by myself

My date on birth certificate is 8 .12.98 and i alter it by myself writing it 8.12.97 , which is my original dob .. in all my other documents my dob is 8.12.97... Now passport officers who came for verification rejected my application as they said i had madr some changes in my dob ... So what i can do now to get a new dob certificate with new date 8.12.97
