We have about 15 acres of land. Out of which about 8 acres is in my grandmothers
name and the rest -7acres is in my Uncles name (my fathers brother). We have a partition deed
from prev generation. And we subsequently fought two cases.
1. Someone was trying to occupy the land and we won the case against him in 1981.
2. Government said that the land was only 4 acres and not 7. We again won the case in 2006
and a court order was passed to provide us with Ryotwari patta.

The patta/passbook has not come till date. Now with this mee bhoomi program, the internet record faultily says this land is "cheru" or lake. When we requested them to rectify and provide us the passbook, we were asked to pay up a sum of 5 lakhs.
How do we avoid this ? Could you please advice how to sort the matter ?
