I have been in touch with M/s Rakesh Kumar, Rajesh Soni ITOs (international Taxation),Ravi Kumar Inspector and Raman Kumar Officer in the Office of Income Tax International Taxation, Scindia House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai in connection with refund of Income Tax relating to my daughter-in-law, Ms. Kiran Ahuja, for AY 2012-13. The amount of Rs.34848 was wrongly deposited by my CA in the account of my daughter-in-law instead of my son's account. I am glad to state that though it has taken almost 6 months to sort out this ticklish matter, all these officers have been extremely helpful to me in sorting out this issue. I have never visited their office but have been following up on phone only. Today I had a pleasant surprise when I got a call from these officers informing me that they have solved my problem and that the refund amount shall be deposited directly into the Bank A/c of my daughter in law. I pray for their good health and wish that their tribe should increase.
