Shame India
While I was taking a right-turn, another car came in reverse and hit my car without looking at my car & the car's side indicator.
My car got scratched heavily. So both of us decided to get the Police Report for our insurance purposes.
We went to the relevant police station and police constable enquired both of us. He understood that it was the other driver's mistake and not mine. He asked both of us to come again to get the report for insurance purposes from police inspector.
The next day, this other driver had gone before I went there and got the report from another police inspector misrepresenting that mistake was mine. The inspector had given him the report accordingly. When I went there after an hour, the inspector inquired me why I hit the other car. When I explained the whole incident, the inspector realized that it was the other car driver's mistake. The inspector gave me my report on the basis of my statement and treated me very politely. I was very happy to get such a nice treatment.
