Hello,

I work for a company in Whitefield. As it is time for renewal of advertisement banner, the BBMP officer (Mr. Buddesh), Mahadevpura, Whitefield, has asked for a bribe of an amount between Rs. 50,000 - Rs. 65,000 in cash to renew it for a period of one year. This is an issue we face every year. If we take a stand not to pay a bribe, they do not accept the application form and consequently our licence is not issued. They have a record that we have not been granted a licence and come for an inspection.
