Today I went to the bbmp office at chennamanakere achukattu office to obtain the birth certificate of my daughter. I met the person named mrs.manjula.she directed to mrs. anitha.they got the details of the earlier filed application and came back saying that I have to pay 150/ as charges for birth certificate.I told them that e certificate should be free for the first time.they told that always there is a charges of 150/for every birth certificate application. also they are not ready give the certificate immediately.now I have paid the bribe and waiting for their higher officer to approve.I will get it after 1 week. But the application was done 3 months back.
