My family shifted from Trivandrum to Tripunithura last **********. All though Iam a native of Tripunithura, all my identities are still in Trivandrum. So we have approched the Muncipality to get a residence certificate for bank transactions. When er submitted the application, he counter clerk told us to ********** the Revenue Inspector. He was seated in the upstairs of the building. When we went there, that man was not present. The clerk in that department told us that he had gone for an inspection and told us to wait. After half an hour he came and asked us to take him to my house for inspection. So we took him. He saw the place asked so many questions for proof and finsished his work. He was not going back. He was still lingering there for some reasons or other. So my husband understood his motive and gave him Rs. 500/- . He said "thank you" and told us to come and collect the certificate after one week. So my husband went after 10 days. This officer told the clerk to give the certificate. Clerk was able to locate it. So both of them started talking in a meaningless way. Ultimately the inspector started searching and he saw the application form in his file itself. Although we have given bribe to the person he has not done a single thing and we got the certificate through the regular way
